Jacquiline Pimer

Jacquiline Pimer is a trade lawyer with a significant amount of experience in trade regulation, project management, research and reporting, capacity building trainings and workshops, country evaluation from organizations such as the International Organisation for Migration, UNIDO, UNECA, the Common Wealth Secretariat, COMESA, World Bank, UN Department for Economic and Social Affairs, International Trade Centre, USAID's East African Trade and Investment Hub, UNIDOand GIZ. Her trade career has focused on the continent of Africa and on topics such as trade in services, integration matters, standards, investment and policy related matters.
She has a Professional Certificate in International Law from the University of Adelaide; a Masters in International Law and Economics from the World Trade Institute, University of Berne; Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (The Bar Course) from Law Development Centre and is enrolled as an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda and an undergraduate Bachelor of Laws from Makerere University, Kampala.


Judith Ameso

Judith cut her teeth as an analyst at the Southern and Eastern Africa Trade, Information and Negotiations Institute (SEATINI). In the much sought after position, she helped support lobbying efforts for regional integration; going on to work for the UN Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) in various seminal capacities. She also lent her expertise to trade and consultancy departments in designing investment policy diagnostic tools in the East African Community.


Shari J. Hammond

Shari is a development professional with extensive cross-sectoral expertise in diplomacy, private sector development, international trade and gender equality. She has worked for entities like UNESCO, the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, African Women’s Development Fund, International Trade Centre and the World Bank Group amongst others.

In more recent projects, she has advocated for stronger access for women to international markets; connecting West African women-owned SMEs to global markets for job creation and gender mainstreaming in national and regional trade policies in Africa.


Robina Kyoshabire

Robina Gloria Kyoshabire holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from Makerere University and Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre Uganda. Robina is also a trained mediator and arbitrator from Mediators without Borders. She is an Associate Partner at Protrade Africa Consulting where she is part of a team that offers services ranging from project management to research and reporting especially in Africa’s trade and integration agenda.

Robina was part of the team that rendered legal advisory services to an IOM funded project (2017-2019) on a Pilot study of migration in the East African Community Highlighting Existing Gaps on Migration Policy Frameworks, Data Collection and Migrant Worker Practices in four EAC Partner states. (Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda and Tanzania).

Prior to joining the Firm Robina was in charge of all immigration work at one of the largest full-service law firms in Kampala which included processing of work permits, dependant passes, student passes, export and import permits..
